Characteristics
- Appearance : Deep red with a purple hue
- Bouquet : Overripe red fruit intense and complex.
- Taste : Warm, wine laden, spicy, well rounded and complex. Robust, velvety, fleshy and long in the mouth. A highly expressive wine.
Tasters advice
- Accompanies well: Red meat, game (jugged hare and boar), cheese…
- Serve at: 17 to 18°C open an hour or two in advance
- Ageing: Keeps well in a cool cellar.
