| Location: | Produced from the South, South East Valreas "terroir" selection soil this wine is quite distinctive. The Polidon district which faces South South East at an altitude of 350 to 400 m boasts a unique microclimate, sheltered from the Mistral wind this soil produces early in the year despite the high altitude. |
| Vinification: | Traditional fermentation over 8 to 10 days in efficient heat regulating and automatic pumping over vats. |
Characteristics
- Appearance : intense red.
- Bouquet : Earthy, reminiscent of blackberries with a note of pepper.
- Taste : High class, robust, strong and warm, very rounded, keeps well.
Tasters advice
- Accompanies well : Meat, game, cheese, main courses.
- Serve at : 17 to 18°C
- Ageing : Can be stored for a long time in a cool cellar.
